Response to articles on digital editing and picture touch-ups in fashion and entertainment:
As far as digital editing and touch-ups go in entertainment and fashion, it can be helpful, but there is a point when an editor can go too far in his work. A person, model, or actress involved in photo shoots should look natural. The ad or whatever is being advertised or trying to be sold is not appealing when the image appears to be too fake or too touched up. The viewer should not be able to tell if an image has been altered, it should be subtle if the editor is going to alter it.
Although in some cases touching up a picture is a good thing, you are able to delete blemishes or restore an old picture to it's once beautiful self.
